Situation:

In the production of high-end sheet metal doors, flat sheets are transferred from a coil into a machine for further processing (bending). Until now, moving the sheets required a high amount of force, frequently resulting in damage to the surfaces. Sometimes the friction coefficients were so high that they caused a machine breakdown.

Solution:

The previous supports were replaced by Mink roller brushes, resulting in significantly easier handling of the sheet metal doors thanks to very low coefficients of friction due to the point-like support on bristle tips. Additionally, the brush rollers prevent scratches on the sensitive metal surfaces.

- The surface is protected by gentle support and flexible bristle conveying
